Our family ventured once again for a spring break vacation in Longboat Key, Florida. It was a wonderful time and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Our condo had a nice screened in porch that overlooked the pool and ocean that the kids loved. We spent as much time as possible in the pool or walking on the ocean. There were tons of shells and lots of big waves. This year Mommie and Papa Byron joined us on vacation. We all had a great time swimming and seeing the local sights such as the Mote Marine Laboratory where Aidan & Ashley fell in love with the manatees. The Combs family also joined us for a wonderful day. Aidan and John-John had a blast in the ocean and the pool. Aidan also met a new pal, Ryan, and played again with Coleman & Kyle whom he met last year.
Ashley loved the pool and looked so adorable in her little swimsuits. She liked to watch the birds and the ocean, but would only go in the water if I were holding her. She laughed and giggled as we were pushed & pulled by the tide. We all had a great week walking the beach, swimming, playing with friends and enjoying the warm sun!!! We were sad to leave such a beautiful place, but as always it is nice to come back home. Until next year, I hope.....
